    Faulty Struts

    I ordered these rear struts in September and they are defective. AutoShack has been sending very generic replies to my request to dona warranty replacement. They sent one asking for vin, make, model, year, trim, box size, etc....and then responded that the struts are compatible. I didn’t ask if struts that were already installed and now defective were compatible. I am aware they are. Totally not satisfied. Still waiting

    I was shocked.

    After a short time, front strut bushings failed. Caused premature tire wear and front end rattle. Rear shocks rattle and bang, again the bushings are sub-standard. If they designed them with better bushings it might be a good product. Too bad.

    Great price for this kit.

    Easy installation, the front end did ride stiff for a few days till the new coil springs compressed a bit. After that I could definitely tell my old struts were shot as were my rear shocks, smooth ride now.

    BAD BUSHINGS

    Bushings disintegrated in less than one year. The cheap rubber they use cracked and fell out, rattling and excessive tire wear like you wouldn't believe. Consumer beware!!!
