    Thicker gasket works well in certain applications

    I normally use Mr. Gasket Ultra Seal (5841) gaskets for the Mopar intakes, but they are only .031" thick. Sometimes you need a thicker gasket like these to seal properly. This part (301) is .062" thick and very compliant. Plus it's easy to trim around enlarged ports if necessary. Be aware these are intended for high performance engines and cylinder heads where the heat crossover passageway is blocked off.
