Ensure you inspect your package thoroughly. My mirror had a bent stud. I was able the straighten the stud but as well as it was packaged, you have to wonder if it was shipped like that or did it happen in transit. the puddle light does not work but that is no issue to me. Everything else functions properly and the mounting was the same as OEM. Try to reuse the original nuts if possible. the ones that come in the package are a bit small in overall diameter.
