Very easy replacement for a stock HEI distributor that was in the engine. Once everything was set, it fired right up and runs great. Nice quality, and I am looking forward to many years of service from this distributor. When checking into new distributors, I received very positive feedback from friends about MSD and their quality and reputation. That always goes a long way with me when looking for new parts for my old cars.Very easy replacement for a stock HEI distributor that was in the engine. The stock springs are not so good unless your a drag racer. For a steer car get the timing curve kit to be fully advanced around ~3000rpm and your rod will be set! Other than that this thing is Awsome.
