Direct factory replacement on my 2015 Taurus PI. Super easy to replace and install. Huge difference over the tired and worn out OEM ones. Has a nice little pop to lift the trunk up a bit making it easy to get your fingers under. Doesn't pop the trunk all the way open or anything crazy. Has no trouble keeping the lid up. Has good resistance when pulling the truck back down, but not so much where it is difficult or you feel like something is going to break. Nice cheap OEM alternative all around.
