These racks are somewhat universal, not Kia Sorento specific. I installed the rack on the front first, then the rear. the passenger side tightened down perfectly right away. The one on the driver's side wouldn't go all the way down to catch properly under the bulge on the rack. I worked quite awhile, then quit. The next am I went out to reverse the rack, loosened both sides, tightened the passenger side first, then the driver's side tightened perfectly. I wish I would have tried that sooner.
