Faulty out of the box.
The filter housing leaked due to poor assembly - the main body o'ring wasn't correctly seated (kinked) causing the filter housing to leak fuel back into the tank. While this wasn't dangerous it caused a drastic drop in fuel pressure which resulted in two faults. 1. low fuel pressure at the engine resulting in lean fuel mixture. and 2. No fuel transfer to the pump side of the tank resulting in the pump side of the tank running dry while the filter side is still relatively full. As this vehicle has dual fuel level senders, one for each side of the tank the gauge would still show it's average of a 1/4 tank as the pump side ran dry, and the engine stopped running. Due to the lengthy return process, I chose to, and was able to repair this product without damage, and it is now working well. It ...
