Door Rattles When Driving? Try This!
My driver's door had a rattle when driving. Several things were tried until I realized that the noise was because the plastic sleeve on the old door striker was basically missing and could not be replaced separately. . I ordered this new striker, simply bolted it in place and Voila, noise gone! It was so easy and so much quieter, that I ordered one for the passenger side as well. What a difference when the OEM part is used instead of cheaper aftermarket pieces.My driver's door had a rattle when driving.
