    It worked! 1997 Buick is saved... Almost...

    My 97 Buick was down to 24 lbs pressure as the fuel pump failed. It's supposed to be 42-28. It would cost $500-$800 to get to the fluel pump in the tank on this car. So, I installed a standard fuel line hose out of gas tank to the Fuel filter. I installed this PUMP just before the fuel filter. (had to make an adapter because the input is a hair wide, but that was no big deal. I cut of the stalk form the old fuel filter, smoothed the edge and used that with a piece of hose make the adaper. Clamped it all together with hose clamps. I ran 16 ga wire, which I put into 1/4" plastic wire protector, snaked all the way to the engine compartment and found a spot in my fuse box where the power turns on when I turn on the key. This pump now gives me 40 lbs of fuel pressure which is enough to ...
