The quality of the material is less than the original I am replacing. Theis new gasket is slightly smaller in cross section compared to the original, and there is substantially less material around bolt holes. You will have to apply much adhesive to keep it in the trench. The material also feels harder than the original. I don't trust that this new gasket will seal without defect, so I am going to re-use the original instead.
