    Good price. Hard to work with.

    These are very nice and priced well. However, they are extremely stiff. Maybe because they are brand new. But I felt like I was about to snap the bracket off of my JKU. I was legitimately scared I was going to break it. It took a lot of my strength just to latch it. I would look for as close to OEM/Mopar as possible. But if you need a quick fix that does the job, this is a good option.

    Temperature sensitive

    It would have been beneficial for me to know that this item can't or shouldn't be installed in temperatures below 70. Colorado in December, not happening. So I have these hood latches I can't use. Can't install because I don't want them possibly breaking or not holding the hood down. I don't remember that being in the description. I could have missed it.

    Do not buy.

    Do not waste your money. This product has no flex and was way to stiff to stretch. I tried heating with hair dryer, leaving out in the sun for a day, twisting and flexing to try to loosen up....and still could not get to work without damage to the existing brackets. I finally gave up trying after almost damaging the metal of the hood and the fender.

    Better of buying OE parts!

    Straps were too short for my 2008 Wrangler. Tried to force the latch over on one side and it buckled the latch. Now I need the entire latching assembly... do yourself a favor and buy OE!

    Exactly what I needed.

    Easy to install with a perfect fit. It is a lot harder to latch the hood but that’s to be expected. No more hood flutter!! You can’t go wrong with these.
