What an easy fix...truck had been running rough for quite some time...had AutoZone read my check engine light and said this part was needed. AutoZone's price was over $84....so went with this one for $60 and BANG...!!!!….my 2003 Silverado is running like a champ again....what a difference...and ANYONE could have changed it out...really simple.

It works. I monitor Fuel Trims, especially Long Term, because that's what caused the CEL to light up to begin with. I bought a cheap knockoff MAF first: $30: NOPE. Don't do it. LTFT showed high (10-20)% with the cheap knockoff MAF, but I have other issues that I am aware of with the engine, so I thought those issues were causing it. Finally, LTFT went over 25(%) and the CEL lit up again. I got tired of resetting the ECU, that I thought I'd see what a legit MAF would do. A legit MAF for a GM product has to start with a DEL: Delco or Delphi: Take your pick. Delco is around $200 (and a GM part number). Delphi is $100. That is a no brainer. I finally see zero LTFT.

Purchased this MAF sensor for my 2005 Avalanche after pulling a P0101 code. Truck was idling rough, horrible fuel mileage, boggy acceleration and would sputter while under a load, especially uphill. The Oscilloscope measurements on the OLD sensor would bounce from .5lbs/sec to 9lbs/sec at an idle with no load. The graph was jagged almost like arrows pointing upward. With the new Delphi installed the measurements hold steady at .7lbs/sec with no load, and the top of the Oscilloscope graph is now smooth with a repetitive pattern. The truck now idles smooth, throttle response is back to normal and no longer sputters uphill. The shipping time is ridiculously fast! One concern I had was when it arrived in a plastic USPS bag, the thin Delphi box was smashed so bad I didn't even have to open it . . . thankfully it did not appear damaged! The only thing I would recommend is better packaging for shipping due to how delicate the part is. Read full review

MAF sensor seems to be working just fine, received in a Delphi box, which states made in China, if that's where they make then now, then OK, my only real issue ATT is the MAF in the box was missing the Delphi badge on the item. So its working so I can't really complain, but believe it should have the Delphi badge on it. guess time will tell.

Thank God I got this map sensor for a real good price. My Silverado was running like it was flooding power. And now it feels like it needs more open road to ride. Thanks you guys rock...
