IT IS IMPORTANT TO TELL FOLKS THAT IN 1996 TO END OF PRODUCTION 1997 THAT THE DIPSTICK ON THE 5.8 IS IN THE SIDE OF MOTOR/PAN IT IS NOT IN TIMING COVER. THERE ARE NO DIPSTICKS WITHIN COST OF REASON AVAILABLE ANYWHERE FOR HEADERS. BE PREPARED TO MAKE A DIPSTICK TUBE AND OR BRAZE YOUR CURRENT ONE. FORD DOESNT HAVE THEM EITHER. picture added. SO 1995 OR EARLIER ON TIMING COVER IS GREAT AFTER THAT BE PREPARED TO FABRICATE. the mounting hardware that came with it too small. NOT 5/16 it is 3/8!
