Easy installation - Handy extra storage
Installation was easy. It is nice to be able to switch which side the box opens on. I am a little puzzled about the apparent cup holders in the lids. There is no way for water to drain out, so one has to keep an eye on that. Standing water will eventually erode the depression out. Overall, it is a nice product and since I installed two, the reversing lid and mounting brackets were a fine addition. The additional storage allowed me to clean out my back seat of a crew cab truck.Installation was easy. It is nice to be able to switch which side the box opens on. One thing you'll notice is that this is barely a step above not being locked...the plastic is so flexible that a child could pry open a "locked" box with their bare hands. I use mine to store snatch straps, rope, and a bunch of other stuff that I wouldn't miss if it were stolen. On the plus side, I have been using it for well over a year and it does not leak or crack even when being exposed to every element possible. I would buy again without hesitation.One thing you'll notice is that this is barely a step above not being locked...the plastic is so flexible that a child could pry open a "locked" box with their bare hands. Poorly designed not secure or water resistant
Purchased two of these boxes .When parked in the rain water leaks in and around locks . When driving in rain water blows in around lid. Not secure. I could easily open with one hand. Don't waste your money. I hope Dee Zee's other products are designed and manufactured to higher standards
