    Happy to save money and a take off that is fully functional

    My mechanic would not buy it and didn't like getting a credit on PayPal if no good, but I got it and he got it to work so I saved a lot of money. We just got the car back and It works again so my wife and I are very happy Thanks PS six years ago Ford did a sort of recall on these and would replace it and update the software for free if it had stalling problems so my wife took it in and they charged her over a hundred dollar to check it out and said it didn't have that problem but it was bad and would be another thousand to replace and reprogram the throttle body. I went back with her and said no way and wanted her deposit back. We didn't get the money back and the car ran fine for many years. But now just to get the replacement was $600.++ with tax my mechanic was going to by pass the ...

    Cheap, but fails often

    Although its a good value to get a used one on ebay, it is a very common failed part, so you can look forward to replacing it every year or 2. This is the 3rd throttle body i have had in my five hundred since i got it 80k miles ago.
