Perfect OEM water pump replacement.
Drop in, perfect fit, replacement for a Ford 2002 ZX2 leaky unit. Due to the cramped nature in the engine location where this water pump goes, i.e., below the timing belt cover and next to other pulleys, the serpentine belt needs to be removed (make a drawing of how the belt will wrap back again *before* loosening the tensioner). The water pump needs to be rotated around, similar to a Rubik's cube, to extract the leaky unit towards the bottom of engine and then to insert the new unit upwards into the tight compartment. The effort was worthwhile as this water pump is an exact replacement for the OEM unit, i.e., body and pulley bolts aligned perfectly.Drop in, perfect fit, replacement for a Ford 2002 ZX2 leaky unit.
