I have contacted this seller 2 times about not receiving the 2 parts that are shown in the diagram. I received 1 part of a 2 part sealed bag that has 1 of the parts stold out of the bad and this seller is selling them individually which is not what is being shown. The parts were package by Ford with 2 parts per bag because 2 parts are used in the vehicle to support the shifter tube. I won't not recommend using this seller.

It's no secret that the Fram and Purolator filters of yesteryear are not what they were. The number of square inches of filtering surface are not what they used to be, and they are made out of the cheesiest metal that they can be and not burst from the pressure. What few people know about is that the oil filter is very important to the nearly instant pressurization of your oil bath lines in the engine and that the spring strength and overall robustness of the filter are directly related to that pressurization. Oil filters must go from zero to almost one hundred pounds per square inch pressure almost instantaneously. Wix is capable of handling this in good weather and bad, hot and cold, large and small engines. There is a reason why most NASCAR pit crews use Wix and it's not because it ... Eschew the bright white, silver or orange filters, and get into the Wix habit. Your startup will wear your engine a little less, the quality of the oil circulating in your engine will be a little better, and there is practically no chance your oil filter will burst when driving no matter what. I stand by Wix because it is a throwback - the kind of filter I want protecting my engines in my cars; it is simply the best oil filter out there.
