Cheap China junk, over double allowable backlash variation
Can't achieve proper backlash due to variation in pinion. Have a good pattern but backlash varies by .0045", but not with every rotation of ring gear. Backlash changes several times as ring gear is rotated due to pinion variation. Can't get refund without sending old gearset back, obviously there is no winning here. Spent $275 on overnight shipping, 10 hours to install, now stuck with low quality gears that are out of spec. Ron's machining says they've been having problems with Yukon gears and they are low quality made in China now, but they still sell them.
