    intake upgrade over stock

    Good fit, no warped edges or excess flash. Packaging didn’t impact any seals minimizing potential leaks. Instructions somewhat vague regarding the egr tube upgrade if you haven’t done it before. Be sure to use proper torque wrench for 89 inch pounds final.YouTube helped me.Overall it was easy and I could have finished in about 4 hours but I like to do extra cleaning.

    Nice kit but faulty materials

    This is a really nice kit that appears to be well made and does address the engineering issue with the 3.8 Buick V6. The problem appears later. The plastic that the manifold is made from apparently does not have the same tensile strength as the OEM part. The fasteners pull through the plastic, it loses pre-load and then starts to leak again. Keep your OEM manifold if you're smart enough to use the reduced OD EGR tube before it melts the manifold. Otherwise, save yourself a return by using the higher quality OEM manifold.

    V6 fix

    Fixed what Firestone diagnosed as blown head gasket. I would suggest replacing the manifold to solve water in the cylinder problem. The EGR valve gets hot and warped the intake manifold. This part should fix your problem.
