OEM fit, OEM quality
One of my biggest fears with third party products is its poor design and tolerances that leads to a poor fit. This side marker, however, looks, feels and FITS like an OEM product. I should add that there is a clip on the opposite side of these side markers that should be flipped around prior to installation. There were no instructions to do this but it seemed obvious after I made a visual comparison with the OEM side markers I replaced. Once that is done however, it slid into the fenders easily and clicked in place. It is a slightly looser fit than OEM but secure. It does not rattle or fly off at freeway speeds and it looks pretty sweet illuminated.One of my biggest fears with third party products is its poor design and tolerances that leads to a poor fit. Good replacement for OEM sidemarkers.
When my driver side, side markers broke I knew it had to be replaced. Looked all over and saw that all the OEM replacements were going to cost the same as this kit so I said "screw it!" And decided to try these. Well I wasn't sure at first how these would work with my WRB 03 WRX and thought that the colors wouldn't have blended, but it looks amazing! Figment was great as well. Only problem is that the metal taps were on backwards which was an easy 3 second fix.When my driver side, side markers broke I knew it had to be replaced. First I will say that compared to some of the other versions floating around, this one seems to be a step up in construction. It actually uses a factory style metal spring clip, not just a cheap plastic one that doesn't fit and requires 3M tape to secure. However, it had a couple of knocks against it. 1) you can see the glue around the edges even through the tinted lense 2) the tint has a blue-ish hue to it, where I would have preferred a more neutral gray.First I will say that compared to some of the other versions floating around, this one seems to be a step up in construction. Glue that's used to seal these is everywhere over the light, and it's still not even sealed, lens look really nice but not good if they're covered in glue
