Yep it works on your Subie!
I've swapped this coil pack on 2 different 98 LGT's EJ25D engines. Works way better than stock. Just make sure you also get a wiring harness from a Dodge Neon SRT 4 then it's just a simple splice, junkyard it for cheap. The only real issue is how to mount it to the manifold since the holes won't line up anymore. Also if you have a Grimmspeed 8mm phenolic spacer, like me, then it will touch the hood a little. Wanted to give a detailed review for the Subaru brothers out there. Don't forget to get some fresh NGK plugs and wires!I've swapped this coil pack on 2 different 98 LGT's EJ25D engines. GOOD Subaru upgrade
Great upgrade! Installed on NA EJ20 Improved throttle response and solid smooth acceleration. Used NGK wires and NGK 7090 G-Power BKR5EGP plugs. Not a huge difference but defiantly worth it!
