I wanted a hood protector/deflector that didn’t stick up far like the old days and yet wasn’t so low profile that you couldn’t clean it. Yes dirt and stuff will collect between the deflector and your hood. It’s important for your hood to keep that area clean when you wash your vehicle. And never get the car bra, they are terrible. Weather tech is fantastic quality and their products just work.

    Looks good

    The product is good it also looks good but the Hardware sucks.They give you a plastic pin not even long enough to go through the deflector.Really you got to be kidding me if I installed that with the hardware they provided it definitely would of flew off.Enclosed is a picture of the screw I used and it’s nice and tight.

    Added protection for your hood.

    Good product, I believe. Very low profile. I won't really know how well it works until I start to see more bugs and scratches on it and fewer on the hood of my truck. The one complaint i definitely have is it should have came with tighter-fitting plastic rivets than the ones that came with it. They should also come with more gel bumpers to protect it from bumping against the hood.

    Nice bug deflector but poor attachment pieces. Disappointing

    I installed as per directed, the attachment pieces that you give with the bug deflector I’ll pour fit in the holes under the hood edge. A different answer it would be good for those holes and a bigger screw. For what you charge for this I thought the attachment pieces and screws were Very poor. I don’t doubt that I will have to redo them with a better fit

    Nice Shield Poor Fasteners

    The shield itself is great. However, the fastener system is poor. The tiny inserts ans screws would not hold the shield in place during assembly, for me. I purchased some better screws and did it right.
