Description states this will fit a 2004 4Runner. This item is longer than the original so the plastic chrome bezel would not fit on the enlarged section of the shaft. I had to enlarge the hole for it to go on. Something else on the inside was also interfering with it fitting correctly. I had to hit it down really hard and was finally able to get the threads to engage.

We do have smaller/shorter knobs that also fits 4Runner. We provide the size and dimensions of the knob so that people can choose the size and style they want. Some people prefer the smaller knobs and some do prefer the larger longer ones. So you have the full control on the size and shape selection. In case, if it doesn't work, we provide FREE returns for a full refund.
