Excellent looking hood, poor function.
I have scene the fiberglass version of this hood from RKSport and love the design. It is a funtioning ram hair with air directed straight to the factory intake. It also has great heat extraction vents and functions well. The carbon fiber version looks equally amazing and did not require any body work or paint so it was an easy choice. Unfortunately, the manufacturer, carbon creations, butchered the design on the underside and just cut out huge holes so it no longer functions as a ram air scoop. The newly made holes also allow rain and debris to fall straight through onto the engine and electrical components. There was no reason to cut up the underside, but by doing so they hinder the intended function. The hood still looks great, but requires work of you don't want crap falling ...
