    Good Replacement AX5 for my 1994 Jeep YJ

    Bought this AX5 to replace my dead one. Everything arrived in very protected/clean packaging though it did come with the 1984-1993 front bearing retainer which is not compatible with the 1994+ throw-out bearing on the AX5, it wasn't an issue because I could just swap it from my core and be done with it, For the most part trans was definitely used, but at this price point I was not expecting perfection, mechanically, it is in perfect shape and jeep runs/drives/shifts as it should. Overall I'm really happy with this and would absolutely consider buying more parts from deadjeepparts, they have quick response times and sell quality used parts that are getting difficult to find.

    Transmission review

    So far I've have the transmission in for a week and it's ran excellent. Down side is when I pulled the drain plug out there was a shard of metal stuck to the magnet. Other than that so far its been running good.
