    Works great

Install was simple and straightforward. The new fuel filter slid directly into the old bracket. The connectors on the lines were direct swaps with the old hard lines. The compression fittings were a high quality. The lines were long enough to replace all of the rotten sections and still reach the floor beneath the driver's seat. The hardest part of the job was removing the old rusted lines. Putting the new ones in was fast and pretty easy

Great idea, just needs some tweaking

Seemed to work out ok. Only issue is that they are cut a good 8 inches or so too long. Took a bit of time to route them so that it took up some of the slack. I get that you could just trim off the extra and splice it back together, but why can't they just be cut the right length in the first place? Especially since they're supposed to be designed for my exact vehicle. I could see an inch or 2 too long just to be safe but 8 inches is totally unnecessary. Otherwise quality seemed to be ok.

  • "Kit included all neccessary parts for installation"

The gas lines on my 07 Cobalt run parallel with the brake lines and are snapped in place by plastic clips. The brake lines were in good shape and did not have to replaced. Unsnapping the clips are a little tricky though. After removing the old rusted out gas lines I was able to run the new nylon lines along the same routing locations and reuse all the plastic clips. Make sure you mark the feed and return lines and don't cut the new lines to the length until you have them routed. It took me about 3 hours to complete the installation. The job went smoothly and very happy with how it turned out. Would highly recommend it for the home mechanic. (Randy)

  • Easiest solution.

Bringing my '07 Ion to mechanics was answered with "not interested" for the rusted out fuel lines. Decided to try this nylon rather than steel, and I'm thrilled. It took 1 1/2 hours to cut out the old line, and 15 minutes to run the new. I don't know how it would be possible to replace with steel lines unless you a.) have it up on a lift, and b.) remove the brake lines. I only did the job a few weeks ago, but zero issues so far. Truly thrilled with the product.

  • Rusted gasoline lines

Had a heavy gas smell everytime I got out of the car just in front of the rear driver's tire. Apparently this is a common problem with the certain GM vehicles, rusted lines right at the clip attached to the body (holds moisture which causes the lines to rust badly). Replaced them with this nylon gas line kit from motor to tank, took approximately 2hrs for my mechanic to install and works FANTASTIC.A quick and easy fix and It will never rust again. Total price with kit and labor $315. Alot cheaper than replacing original lines just follow the instructions included with the kit and you can't go wrong. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who experiences this problem as I had to.
