This is a solenoid motor starter that is a direct replacement part. This Standard brand motor starter has powerful copper contacts that are capable of minimizing arcing effects. They're capable of boosting longevity as well. The solenoid has pure copper windings that contribute to magnetic fields. The solenoid's copper battery terminal studs minimize resistance and encourage better current flow, too. This starter weighs 12 ounces and is 5.7 by 3 by 3.2 inches.
