I didn't know regulator didn't come with a coiled spring.I wasn't aware that it was even required. I transferred the old spring off regulator i was replacing to the new regulator . It was difficult because i has to file/cut out the notch that holds spring in place. friend had vice to hold spring while using plyers to lock coiled spring in place. That was very easy after realizing a vice was a good idea.I think the company should have had instructions explaining how to transfer coiled spring.
