I can make it work with the old coil harness, but I was sent the wrong side. The picture is correct for the front left door on my 2002 hard top beetle and I checked with the one I took off the car. The cables are also a bit long and don't clip into the spots designed for them to fit. Overall I wanted to tell the supplier that the discription is incorrect and the picture is the right part. Just a warning to other buyers would be to double check with the seller that you are getting the right part
