Purchased rough country 2 .5 lift kit. Installed today and everything went together perfectly. Thank you. Now that I’m done I feel that the back end is sitting lower than the front end. A friend suggested that I may need longer rear shackles. Is that a common thing for the yj to sit low in the rear Ens after conversion? If so do you recommend a solution. Thanks in advance.

    2.5 inch lift

    Rear springs are to short causing my rear leaf hangers to be forwards if I flexed my Jeep it would mess up everything on the rear suspension , also the shims that come already installed on the rear springs are not correct I still have driveline vibration after install did not before the rear was placed on , everything bolts on install is simple just follow rough country instructions don’t tighten until fully set back on the ground no death wobble or anything just a rough ride with my springs almost straight up and down in the rear !

    1995 YJ . Everything bolted right up. It really helped the ride quality .My OE leaf springs were flat. So this actually lifted my front end about 3.5" , rear end 3".

    I recently installed the rough country 2.5 suspension lift on my Jeep, I highly recommend this lift well worth the time it took to install huge difference in the ride and performance on my yj. Check out the before and after pictures.

    Great product

    My front springs were sagged out to where it was sitting on the spring stops. Now it has about 6” of clearance on the front. Sits up nice and rides 100 times better.

    2.5 in rough country lift

    Just finished install. Because of sagging stock springs from 1995 got over 3.5 inches of lift plus an additional 1.5 in in tire size. Gave my jeep the perfect stance. Love this lift !!!!
