    I bought this console compartment door hinge assy. for my 1996 Toyota Celica it was easy to replace and fit perfect. That is why i like to use genuine Toyota Parts. Compartment door opens and engages detent to stay open until you are ready to close it. Just as it did when the car was brand new. I will buy Genuine Toyota Parts for this old car for as long I can find them available. J.R.
