    Great Drop Step, but Quality Control Problems

    A well-designed and well-made drop step. I bought them for the design, not because there were inexpensive. Installation went without a hitch; everything lines up. 2 stars off for quality control: Mine had 2 deep dings on one step, caused in the factory before painting. The end caps are cheap; I replaced them with quality end caps. The packaging is deficient; 2 of the ends were slightly bent during transport due to lack of adequate cushioning. Picture the poor delivery guy wrestling this heavy, awkward package to the door and standing it on end. With good QC, the steps would be a 5.

    Spend a little bit more for better fitting running boards.

    Chinese I replaced these with Rough country steps within the first week. The fit left gaps, especially behind the rear doors.

    nice rock guards / poor packaging

    These rock guards look real nice and are pretty easy to install. Only downside is the packaging should allow better protection of the guards. one end was damaged ,which I fixed,and two end caps damaged that I replaced
