This item was shipped quickly and was well packaged for transit. The part arrived in new condition, and apparently will fit. It hasn't been installed on the vehicle yet, nor tested for fit.
I notice that the part is the same length as an original moulding, but over an inch less in width. So it doesn't appear to be an exact GM replacement part, but it MAY fit. I wonder if it might be a match for a different 2005 Cadillac model. Thanks for the good service.
