the mirror's cicular mounting assembly was undersized. With much effort, including resizing & heating the assembly to soften the plastic, I managed to get it mounted. I have previously replaced this mirror which I purchased from a different vendor and had no problems with mounting it. I see the mirror I purchased from you was "made in Taiwan". You might follow through with the manufacturer to let them know they need to increase the diameter of the mounting area by about one millimeter.
