    installation issues

    I have installed several of them. The fit on this one is ok at best. Because the front clamps are 1/3 the way back from the front edge, when you do get the rear clampdowns to work, the front has gaps at each corner. I remedied this by using household weatherstripping. I had to rework the plastic rear clamps in order for them to work. Since the clamping system uses the truck tie-down system, there isn’t much you can do to remedy this problem. It needs an additional rail nearer the front to make it work better.
