The kit was delivered quickly and had the parts I needed. Like others suggested, I replaced the paper water pump gasket provided in the kit with a genuine metallic one. Also, there were a couple of extra camshaft seals (4 total), which was nice when I mangled one.

    As good as OEM, high quality, everything you need to get the job done.

    Gates is OEM manufacturer belt brand. The aftermarket "made in Korea" components feel like high quality. I'd say the water pump is probably the weakest link this kit - it feels sturdy, but my last aftermarket pump's shaft bearing failed 35K miles before the timing belt was due. I'd recommend not using the cheap water pump paper gasket. I'd say RTV would be better, and even better would be to use the OEM factory metal gasket (I installed it dry). This replaced my Gates belt with about 40K miles on it and the belt showed minimal wear and still looked new.

    Timing belt tensioner failure

    Gates belt and water pump are good parts. Tensioner failed in 4 months. Gasket is paper. Warranty is for 90 days. Did not see that in listing.

    Good Kit

    Came with everything needed to replace the water pump and timing belt. I would recommend getting a metal gasket because the one that this kit comes with is paper which is a little dinky in my opinion. Otherwise all parts fit perfectly and the repair came out successful.

    Timing kit

    I purchased this timing kit for a 04 tiburon gt 2.7l. It was everything I needed for a timing upgrade and was simple to install. Water pump gasket was the crappy paper kind instead of the metal one but other than that, it's all well made parts for WAY cheaper than the parts house.
