    2008 Mini Cooper S

    Purchased this for my wife Mini Cooper S. Got the P0300 codes. Install was easy following YouTube videos. Fits perfectly as far as I can tell. Engine started up after priming the ignition like 10 times. Runs fine now but it’s only been a few days since install. I did the walnut blasting at the same time. Engine is smoother now. Did a reset on the check engine codes and waiting to see if it comes back.

    Failed less that two weeks after installation!

    The HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) purchased from Osias for my 2009 MINI Cooper S worked for about a week and a half after installation. It then had intermittent problems upon startup for a day (which is what my original HPFP was exhibiting for months), then it completely failed the following day. Had to purchase another one from a reputable parts supplied (for quite a bit more money, but it has a 2 year warranty) and install that one, which is currently working just fine. At least I was able to correctly diagnose my problem as the HPFP, but the part from Osias was unreliable. I would NOT recommend purchasing this part from them.
