Go the Cheap Route - it's usually a waste of time and money.
It took a while to untangle the twisted and miss-shaped rubbery gasket, and to figure out which way was which. Good thing there was an image to go by. At any rate, by the time I removed the valve cover of my auto, I realized that the original (?) valve cover gasket was a bit different from the one in which this review is about. The original gasket is retangular in form, and fit the indentures of the Valve cover like a tailored glove. Where as the Reinz gasket is round in form, which would leave some gaps to be filled in the indentures of the valve cover. Therefore, I decided to leave the original gasket in place, since there were no cracks of broken bits - it actually looked pretty good for it's age. And after properly torquing the bolts holding down the valve cover, there seems ... It took a while to untangle the twisted and miss-shaped rubbery gasket, and to figure out which way was which. The Reinz gasket was put away for a rainy day, just incase the situation got desperate enough to use it as an emergency stopgap. I thought of returning the Reinz gasket, but the time and energy in doing so would not be worth the added expense of going there. It will act as a reminder to purchase original parts instead of going the cheap route.

This valve cover gasket is good or better than OEM. Easy to put on and alleviates oil leakage from the valve cover. Thank you for an excellent product.
