Parts were not manufactured to the same specifications. Counter sunk holes in 3 of the 4 the cross arms were not the same depth which made the supplied screws to short to attach to the cars rails. Locally purchased M6x25 machine screws which did permit the attachment to be completed had slightly larger heads which could not be counter sunk into the screw. This makes the screw head visible to the eye.
