I was originally about to return it because it didn't fit into the hinge. I began to write an email to the vendor, then realized I needed to attach some pics as proof. I went to take a picture of the misfit, and realized I just had way too much gunk in my door hinge (1998 TJ) and that made it impossible to fit.
I cleaned the gunk out and it fit like a charm.

They are what I paid for. This is the second set that f mirrors that I have purchased. These definitely work better than the first set I purchased but they are not perfect. Vibrations are definitely an issue as well as a whistling noise that is pretty persistent. Either way they do stay in place and that’s is definitely a step up from the last.
