Works great! May need an extra washer on hood mount.
I recommend this hood damper kit to any S2000 owner. It holds the hood open much further on my '03 S2000 and takes minimal effort to open. Instructions were super simple and most people won't even need them. My only issue is that, with the supplied hardware, the hood mount brackets were going to scratch a small portion of paint once fully torqued. I added another washer between the hood and mounting, bracket resulting in the perfect amount of clearance.I recommend this hood damper kit to any S2000 owner. It holds the hood open much further on my '03 S2000 and takes minimal effort to open. Instructions were super simple and most people won't even need them. My only issue is that, with the supplied hardware, the hood mount brackets were going to scratch a small portion of paint once fully torqued. I added another washer between the hood and mounting, bracket resulting in the perfect amount of clearance.

Very poor durability (= China)
Bought these last year for a car I drive less than 2000 miles a year. I opened the hood once after I installed them last year. I come to lift the hood this year to change oil and neither of the struts hold. So, essentially, the winter killed them. But I have no issues with the OEM struts I bought for my other car.
