Good communication prior to sale; non-existent after sale. I had to wait 4+ weeks for delivery. These do NOT fit a '71 and earlier CJ5 without modification (no surprise to most CJ owners). The seller should be more informed with what he's selling regardless of what the manufacturer claims. The driver seat required slotting of two holes in the factory floor brackets. The passenger seat required the addition of 4 custom brackets. These are great seats and worth the extra effort of modification.

    These work real nice for the early Jeep's low back and basic. They look good and feel pretty good.

    Doesn't fit early CJ5

    This seat and others like it do NOT fit any early CJ 5. If you have the original seats this won't work without major modification to the original seat frame. This company should clearly state that on the offer to sell. They should offer a seat bracket that is compatible with the early CJ 5 if they are going to make a claim (as they do) that this will fit a 56 CJ5.

    Doesnt fit 55-75 as advertised.

    I Should have read the reviews. The seats do not fit the stock 55-75 cj5 or cj6 seat mounts. So in order to use these you will have to fab up adapter plates that make the seat sit too high or cut up your **almost unobtainable and extremely expensive when you do find them** ...seat brackets. If you have your original seats....have someone refoam and recover them. These arent worth it.

    Good quality lowback seat replacement.

    These are supposed to be for an older Jeep that takes low back seats, but I've used them in several other applications. they are good quality and it's much easier to use these seats than to recover the old seats for almost the same price. The seats do not come with any hardware you need fout 8 mm x 1.25 thread pitch hex head to mount the seats

    Doesn't fit 74 cj5s

    What a pita to buy something that is supposed to be a direct fit. Only to end up having to spend a half a day buying hardware and welding up new brackets to make these work. Looks like from other reviewers, these only fit 1976 and up cjs, not the older cj5s. Had I known I wouldn't have bought these.
