Just had a mechanic install this on my 2001 DII and it's the wrong master cylinder. It's not at all compatible with the D2 nor its brake booster and it's not safe to drive with.
A very expensive mistake to make, will need to buy the correct part and pay a mechanic to install and drain the brakes again...

Seller misrepresented this item as gray in color in their ad. They confirmed in an email that it was gray in color before I purchased it. The item arrived quickly, but it was not gray, it was black. Post-purchase communication from seller was a little confusing and not helpful. Eventually, Seller gave a full refund to settle the matter. The Seller was not dishonest, but dealt poorly with my initial inquiry about the color and initially offered poor customer service. Satisfactory conclusion.
