    Heavy gauge metal ! Size was spot on. Screwed up my 40 from a serious backfire.engine loaded up and blam muffler blee a few cracks in it.due to coil wire ground out...but yhis new mufflert is Awesome....sounds soooi mean and as a american v8 should on a lifted truck
