NOT FOR PETS. VELCRO WILL NOT STICK TO SIDES & TAILGATE FOR VERY LONG. DIFFICULT TO CLEAN
My bedrug was the FULL version that covers the truck bed floor, sides, and tail gate. It was installed on brand new truck, with a LEER TOPPER covering the bed! Without a topper, the bedrug would be more exposed to the elements, and would cause even more deterioration, than my experience, as detailed below. 1. The included bedrug velcro for the sides and tailgate will not stick, no matter how well you prep the surface. In my case, with a brand new truck, that was prepped very well with the included alcohol wipes provided by bedrug, I discovered that the bedrug velcro would only stick to sides and tailgate surfaces for only about 90 days. Then it would slowly peel away due to gravity. No matter how well you prep the vehicles vertical surfaces (sides and tailgate), the velcro will not stick ... Pet hair is almost impossible to quickly clean/vacume/scrub off the surface of the bedrug. Youd be much better off with a easily removable thick rubber mat. 4. Bedrug claims to have a lifetime warranty. However, trying to get a copy of this warranty in writing has been impossible, and they will not cover any of the issues mentioned above. They only cover what they consider to be "manufactured defects",.They tell you they sent a copy to your e-mail, but in reality, they send a e-mail showcasing products, but no warranty. This product looks GREAT when initially installed, but it will not last long, and will soon be peeling off the sides and tailgate. My advice is to save $400, and simply purchase a much less expensive, thick rubber mat for the bed floor, that is easily removable for cleaning.
