    Black Hoop Steps with Nerf Bar Running Boards for Chevy Colorado 15-18 are great!

    The instructions were fairly clear. It was basically an exploded view of all the parts. There were 12 larger bolts (16MM head), washers and lock nuts. These bolted through the bracket and into the nerf bar. There were 12 smaller bolts (13 MM head), washers and lock nuts as well. These mounted the brackets to the supplied clip nut (which line up directly to existing holes on the chevy colorado frame.) Cranked the bolts down tight. Add a few drops of medium thread lock liquid (not included) and put on the bolt like I did for added protection from bolts working loose from vibration over time. All in all, it's about a half an hour to install. The nerf bar sits high and tight to the underside of the vehicle! When I finally completed the install, I stepped on the steps. It appeared solid. ...
