Don't expect to bolt it on and go out of the box!
This is a good carb but if you're running a large volume plenum intake be prepared to do a LOT of tuning to get it to run right. I had to change the accelerator pump, pump cam, squirter and primary jets to get it dialed in with a streetstrip 351W setup. I'm running a Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake with a 236* 248* / .579 .589 114sep cam that only had 8 inches of vacuum at a 1075 RPM idle.

The 770 that I received appeared to be of good quality. For a refurbished item is was brand new. Have not finished the motor yet but I’m sure it’ll work just as well as a brand new one. So if you want to save $100 vs a brand new one it’s a great item for the engine build on a budget.
