    RX7 Hood release

    After my car came back from the shop the hood was making a hard pop when, it was opened. I found that they had pulled/over extended the stock cable. As this cable is anywhere from 25 years old, I felt it was time to change this to prevent further issues. This brings me to price, I did see 2 cables for a few bucks cheaper but never heard of the manufactures and had no OEM part # reference. Where as this one had the part number and pic. I picked it up for apx 38 dollars and waited the couple days for it to arrive. When I opened the box, this was packaged in proper plastic and seemed to be slightly oiled!! This is great these cabled need to be kept oiled a little and moister free. The part was referenced on the package along with the OEM part. Comparing it to my OEM cable it looked the same ...
