    Maine Mechanics Rock Worthy but Irritable Stainless Exhaust System

    Hi Stainless Steel Exhaust Enthusiasts, I would fully recommend, Five-Star this product if some minor details were addressed by the manufacturer. While installing this cat-back system on my very nice 1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE we found that the 2 ring crusher gaskets and one of the flange gaskets were sized incorrectly for this application. Additionally, The flex pipe, passenger side was approximately.5 to perhaps 1.5 inches too short. Fortunately, I hang out with a couple of seasoned Maine Mechanics and we were able to work out solutions to these problems.The shortness of the flex coupling area pipe when joined enough to get a good seal caused the tail pipe to rise up too close to the rear plastic bumper cover. We also had to double gasket the Flex (cat) pipe and the driverside to-cat ...
