This was the culprit to my code p0405 (EGR). I changed EGR valve and it kept going out. Turn out the adapter was CLOGGED!! You don’t see these being changed on and gm 3.8, but I recommend changing it when doing EGR work. 2003 Buick Park Avenue. 5 star product
